I know what you mean, I couldn't believe my eyes when I woke up to that September snowstorm. It was my first rip with the T4R in snow and it was a blast!
Took the picture last Friday night before I picked up yesterday.My 4runner stayed out side of the dealer. It was really really cold this weekend here , Ottawa. Overnight temperature of Last Friday was -36C.
Just picked up yesterday, and enjoyed driving it today. BTW, it only had 4 Km on it when I got it

Just picked mine on Monday in Calgary. It took just about one month to get it.

Lucky dude! If it was only a month, your dealer was able to divert an existing order (probably already manufactured) off the production line. My dealer tried that. But, being a smaller dealer, he didn't have the allocation in the first place and no one else wanted to trade units.

Mine's been sitting in the Calgary compound at the rail yard for almost a week, as you can imagine I'm pretty happy about that. Dealer was hoping to have delivered this past Saturday but now is saying later in the week. Mine was ordered on December 31st, but the dealer was able to reshuffle a vehicle that had a December production date to them to get me it a little sooner. I sure wish I could check status' myself instead of having to nag the dealer every few days. Either way hopefully this week is a sure thing now.

What GTA dealer did you order from? Was it a good experience generally? Wondering if Don Valley North has the most pull in terms of trying to get an allocation.
I bought from Yorkdale. Wasn't the best experience but not the worst either. You just have to be informed and stay on top of them to move things along. My worst experience was probably Toyota on the Park - very condescending staff who seems to enjoy wasting my time.
DVN is the largest in the GTA (and maybe in Canada?) They would definitely get more allocation and have more pull trading or trading allocations. In hindsight, I wish I went there. However, they may also be less likely to negotiate.
I would suggest checking out Heffner Toyota in Kitchener. They're decent size and decent guys to deal with.
Awesome. Thanks for the intel. Yeah DVN is the biggest in Canada and I think the second biggest dealer in NA. Heffner is #2 in the region, maybe they'll work a little harder.

Thanks mattr. Mine was at South Pointe. I went with the base SR5 and it took about a month. If I decided to go with the first upgrade package (which is a waste of money as for me) I would get it immediately as they had one in stock. What stealership are you buying it from?

Thanks! You are most likely right but it took longer than I was told in a first place. Anyway, I am happy with the vehicle... Got my first rock chip last Sunday on highway 1 going to Nakiska ski resort...

So I finally picked up my TE today and noticed something odd...it has the integrated turn signals! and puddle lamps! I was ready to live without it since Toyota Canada didn't list it as a standard feature in the Trail but :reddance:

My LE came with some unexpected surprises too: two sets of mats (carpets and rubber), tow hitch bar/ball (haven't opened the box yet) and an extra set of wheel locks.
On the downside, I'm having a heckuva time installing my Husky mats. The front mats won't lock down with the twist knobs and the second row mat doesn't seem to fit. Grrrrr.
