My front skid plate is pretty mangled and has required some re-shapings from time to time.
I found this recently and luckily it was in time. Even in the before pic, there's a tiny bit of clearance, but the boot comes closer when the wheel is turned left and it was hitting. Just used some vise grips to bend the corner in.
If you're front skid is bent, you might want to check this.
