Factory speaker locations

Has anyone replaced all the factory speakers in a 3rd gen. I have Quart Components and was wondering if the tweets will fit behind the factory locations on the doors. Also could you guys post some headunit pics in a 3rd gen. All I find are 4th Gen pics. I hae an Alpine HU and Digital EQ coming out of my Acura and going in the 2000 4R if it is going to look ok and fit in without ugly trim rings. Please post some pics of third gen system installs if you can help with info as far as where amps were placed and changers. I have a 12 disc Alpine that will not fit in console, so I am thinking it will need to go under seat.

thats my alpine CDA-7894 head unit installed.

i also have alpine component speakers (Type-S SPS171A) up front, diamond audio 4" speakers in the rear, an alpine amp to power em all (MRV-F340), and now i just got an infinity basslink powered 10" sub.

my amp was placed behind the rear seats:

some poeple prefer to put the amp in the close-able pocket in the trunk, but i prefered to use that space for storing tools and other doo-dads.

a lot of people put changers in the armrest upfront, but if yours doesnt fit then im sure itd squeeze in under the seats.

check out my site for more info and some more pics.

Thanks Lee, did your tweets go in the stock locations behind the stock grills?

yup, exactly.

when you get in my truck, you cant tell any stereo mods have been done, with your eyes at least.... except for my HU.

the door panels, tweets, etc all look the exact same, they just sound a WHOLE LOT better.

just the way i likes it.
