factory welding on vortex muffler

So it seems like the welding that comes factory on the Cherry Bomb Vortex muffler is kind of shoddy.... you can see the crack along the seam of welding. How should go about to repair this if I don't have much of any welding tools, nor knowledge of how to weld?

and for anyone's curiosity, the muffler started off as shiny black, but that paint comes off fast with all that heat.
