Anyone in Rockland County NY or Bergen County NJ interested in trying out a faded trim restoring product? A 2003 4Runner with the unpainted cladding would be ideal, but this product will also work on any 4Runner with faded mudflaps or faded black plastic in the cowl area (by the windshield wipers), or even the small unpainted plastic strip on top of the rear bumper. Unpainted side mirrors are another area that can always use improvement.
I did my own 4Runner last July and everything still looks perfect one year later. I did my 4Runner's cowl, all four mudflaps, and the rear bumper step. Unfortunately, I never took before/after pics, so now I'm looking for another 4Runner owner to try my stuff out and help spread the word. I'd need to take before/after pictures and hopefully take pics again a year later...or longer if possible.
By the way, I can't say that my stuff is permanent because I've only used it for a year now. But I can say that it should last several years at least, based upon how good it still looks after a year of NY weather and all the salt & dirt that has been on my 4Runner in the past 12 months.
