lol you didn't mention the part where your exhaust was complete junk. Betcha it passes now. just don't forget to go for nice drive through the city and the highway first.

Results of the test: HC = 0.055 (limit is 1.2), CO = 0.35 (limit is 15.0), NOx = 0.9197 (limit is 2.5).
PASSED!!! I am now requesting a 3 year exemption based on the test results and the money I spent! I have to run over to the shop to take pictures of the POS Walker pipe so everyone can know just how crappy their parts are. Im sure the CAT won't last the 5 years they have on the warantee card, so I will just keep getting freebe's until they go out of business.

All I can say is that their parts are garbage. And, if you think I am being judgemental. The manager of the AutoZone ordered another one as soon as I picked it up. He called to tell me that the second one was even worse than the one I had. :rant:
Just glad this entire escapade is over. Now I can get back to the actual build.

LOL, I do appreciate where you are coming from. The why?... it was 7:30PM when I discovered that the o2 sensor was cracked, it was the last night before my registration extension was to expire, O'Reily's had one on hand, and to be honest; I have never had an issue with Bosche. They have a great warrantee, I have used them on numerous vehicles in the past without a single issue, and the price was decent for the situation I was in. I also bought the Tundra Rotors from Bosche.
I get that OEM is the only way to go for some, though I have not had issues using anything Bosche. Only time will tell, and the T4R is now way happy, drives great, has much better throttle response, I can already tell the gas mileage has improved, and overall; I'm a happy camper the odessey of emissions and exhaust system replacement is over.
Big thanks to everyone for all the PM's and support on this forum, you have been so dang helpful! What a great community of like minded people, and I hope to see some local folks on the trails next spring. cheers :biggrin2:

The bosch sensor does not protrude deep enough into the exhaust stream on toyota's... if you ever get a CEL for the rear o2 sensor, you know you have to swap to a denso / NTK.

that is UUUGGGLLLLYYYY, i've seen drunk and blind 1/2 re****ed 12 year olds who can lay down a better bead......seriously, that's 1st year beginner crap right there...i know this because i can't weld as good as a drunk and blind 1/2 re****ed 12 year old but can do better than this.....
The Bosche O2 sensor was an exact size match for the one that was in there, the original Toyota #89465-35380 Denso. Exact same length from what I could tell. I simply cant imagine that a brand new O2 sensor would not be as good, if not better than one from 1998. The old one, broken as it was, had not caused it to get a CEL. Lets just hope for no trouble for the next year or two.
Thats some funny Sh*T. I sent a scorching email to Walker on Sunday, they contacted me today to request pictures of the part. They said that they would have their "engineer" look at it. ROTFLMAO "engineer"... we have lots of them designing our traffic light systems and roads around here in Denver :dammit:
And thats all I have to say about that.

hey thats a legitimate thing.... a welding engineer. He'll end up chewing out the guy or guys that made those for not following his prints.
