Well to start it off my axel seals went bad then my u joints went bad so it would go in gear very rough and make bad noises then mass airflow sensor went bad and to topic off it started to over heat all this happened within 6 months of having it, I went to Toyota to go see how much this would cost it was well over 6 grand much more than my 99 sr5 4runner is worth, luckily I got a insurance settlement of 55 thousand from a car wreck I was involved in few years back so with this money I am selling my 4runner and moving on to another vehicle, it served me well in t he time I had it, it's a shame to see it go but it was becoming a money pit..goodbye 4runners

PitBull is slowly coining the slogan: he who dies with the most 4runners, not toys, wins.

Good luck Tyler. If I received an insurance settlement for $55,000, as much as I love my 3rd gen, I'd look elsewhere (5th gen TE) for some wheels.

pics?

I'm located in Austin you can make a offer I'm still driving it till probably next week

Post a few pics if you can.sorry to hear that you had to let it go.i'm sure someone could use it or part it out to save another 4runner.

Too far for me man. Good luck though.

So PitbullRescuer, I see how you collect 4Runners. I'm assuming your care more about Pitbulls than 4Runners so how many of those do you have?
I love the Pittys, I have two dogs but actually only one Pit Bull, Hank. (in my profile pic.) I have no idea how many I've helped with over the years though, it's a lot.

Im sure you've heard this before PBR, but you should change your username to 4RunnerRescuer

LOL. Honestly, I really like the idea of keeping them on the road. And of course making a few bucks while I'm at it. This is a perfect example though, these things are getting old enough and miles high enough where people are ready to just give up on them. Yet, they're pretty DIY friendly. It's kind of a no brainer really.
