Fairing on factory crossbars

Has anyone done this?

I'm interested in getting doing this purely because I think it looks great. I've read that it helps reduce wind noise and saves on gas but I haven't had much issues with wind noise and I don't know know how much gas it actually saves, if any... I did a search but didn't find anything.

I've researched fittings for 4runners and came up with two potential options:
Inno makes a fairing that fits factory crossbars 2011 Inno Rack Fairings - Factory Rack Compatible Wind / Noise Deflector Farings

Also Thule 871xt has a fit for 4runners
Thule Accessories and Parts for Toyota 4Runner 2010 - TH871XT

I believe the 4runner's size is 39" with Inno or 38" with Thule

Your thoughts?

I've always used farings with racks. Bikes primarily. It cuts down on wind noise, but probably not much mpg gain there.

The inno one looks nice and simple. I hated when Thule went to the "surf board" style so I can't recommend that one. Although either will probably work fine.

Post pics when it's installed.

Will do. Except I've kinda tapped out on funds for this month... and next... haha but that's what CC are for!

Here's a picture of Inno

(not mine, found on web)

Reviews so far say it's solid and great quality material. Haven't read of much complaints yet... Still looking
