Looking at purchasing this kit for my 92
Toyota 4Runner 2.5" Front 1.5" Rear Lift Kit w/ 4WD 1990-1995.5
Anyone out there have any pics of this kit on their 2Gen?

That's what I have on my 95 4Runner. Here is a before pic with 28" tires & stock height to after pic with 33"s & 2" lift.

Fat Bobs is crap, and they lie about that "lift kit".

Get your 1.5 inch ball joint spacer from a company that doesn't lie about the amount of lift it provides (4Crawler and SDORI come to mind), and lift the rear with a set of Landcruiser takeoffs. Skip the diff drop, you don't need it. You'll spend less, and you won't end up supporting a crap company.

The kit that they sent me consisted of 2" BJ spacers, OME coils, ES 3000 shocks and a diff drop kit.
It worked out well for me... but I ended up not installing the diff drop in favor of ground clearance.

Any 80-series rear coils will work, as I understand it. Again, read the Lift and Tires sticky for lots more information.

How does the 1.5" BJ spacer affect the CV angle? Does it cause stress because of the increased angle?

Probably a little, but I wheeled mine for years and never busted a CV. I did throw a boot now and again, but reboot kits are cheap and don't lower your diff right back down to the height you just lifted it out of in the first place.

My 4runner rides and handles well on the street. I hit the beach a few times a year (this thing loves the sand) and light trails are a non issue. I don't rock climb or anything too extreme. The lift and tires are the best thing that I did to change the over all attitude of the truck.
The CV shafts work just fine with the 2" BJ spacers... no binding or anything like that. Yea... don't lower the diff (keep the ground clearance).

Thanks for the info. Been thinking about doing the 1.5" BJS and the 1.25" shackles in back. Somebody should package these two items together. And I'll definitely not drop the diff.

If someone put together a simple kit including the 1.5" BJS and the LC Coils i am sure there would be plenty of people looking to purchase this budget build - myself included.

I dropped my diff when I had a similar lift. I probably would have snapped my cvs easy if I didn't. I was running a locked front FYI. The diff drop doesn't lower you in the front either. Yes, it does push your diff down, but the IFS crossmember is still below that.

Diff drop if you have ADD, skip it for manual hubs.

Are you still running 31s with the 2inch lift ? If so could I see some better photos of how your truck looks. I have a 95 that I'm looking to lift 2 inch but keep 31s.
