Fatal hit and run caused by guy in 3rd gen...

Hey all,

Just read an article this morning about a sad situation nearby.

Looks like a guy driving a 98 4Runner blew a red light and killed a pedestrian, and then tried to flee the scene. The saddest part was that the guy that got killed took the hit for his friend, whom he pushed out of the way.

The guy who got killed was also a caretaker for his grandfather too, so that's awful. Anyway, there's a crowd-funding site set up to help out, even if it's just a few bucks, but figured I'd mention it.

I'm not suggesting we're responsible for the actions of others just because we drive a similar vehicle, but it's what caught my attention...

A 1998 Toyota 4Runner driving east on East Iliff Avenue at a high rate of speed ignored a red light and attempted to turn north onto Chambers Road and started to slide. The driver lost control and hit McCreary. The driver tried to drive away, but the SUV failed before the vehicle made it out of the parking lot where it landed.

Oh, and the "SUV failed"? No, this dipshit failed...at life.
