Faulty airbag sensor. Anyone else?

Well, I am about to be $800 lighter because my airbag control sensor has inexplicably crapped out.

Anyone else experience this?

Very kind of you.

I just ripped open the center console to see what its going to take to get the module out. I'm not going to lie, that thing is burried in there.

Reviving an old thread. Being told my central airbag control module is bad. Is this something I can replace myself? Or once I put a new one will there be codes a dealer has to clear? Found the parts on Toyota overstock parts for half of what the dealer wants. If I can do the labor I will.
