We all know that 4runners come in all different types of engine, accessories, add-ons, and the such...but they also come in various colors. I personally like the white with powder coated black rims and tinted windows. However, I myself have the Desert Dune Metalic Silver, which I don't hate, I just have always wanted the white one. I also have always liked the gun metal color. My brother has the Jade Mica and swears he almost creams himself when he sees another one because supposedly they are rare. So what is your favorite color on the 4runner?

I also have the Desert Dune and really like it. If I could choose another color it I would really like a Black or Anthracite Metallic. I would probably throw some 20% tint on there then put on some 18-20" rims. Maybe one day who knows. :)
 
Jade mica rare? I see those quite a bit here. I like my black and grey but the desert dune is a very close second imho ;):
 
004Gunner, we probably have identical cars, I love our color combo, took me a long time to find mine and had to driv an hour and 45 minutes to get it.
 
I didn't have to drive far but it is hard to find. I had to pay more because it was the only one in my area. The silver limiteds were an easy $1000 cheaper when I bought mine. I think my color combo was worth it though :)
 
Yea our color combo is sexy and rare. Wouldnt have any other color. If i did it would be desert dune and for some reason i love white 4runners. Cant stand other white cars though :confused:
 
sunfire red or something alone those lines in the late 3rd gen year models.

also just a plain pearl white limted would be super clean.
 
i like the black, but im not a fan of the gray plastic fenders, and i wish my bumpers were black to match the truck... i dont like chrome that much.....

The Black Limiteds look good. They don't have that chrome or gray piece.

I hate how stock 4runners have the chrome around the wheel well. Looks bad to me.
 
yeah the "limited" flares are called Bushwacker Flares if you ever want to buy some.

i have the chrome stripes that are part of the SR5 package. They're alright.

I am interested in color matching all my chrome though. :D
 
i dont know what color mine is. its more gold than silver. not that exciting of a color really..my co worker has a black one and it always looks sharp. the benefit of the silverish color is that i havent washed my car in probably 4+ months. I work on construction sites so its pretty useless to wash it because its dirty within hours anyways.

I have only seen one pearl white 3rd gen ever and it looked gorgeous! It was a limited and somewhere in the 99-02. I can't remember which grille and tail lights it had. . .

I dont believe so.. the "limited" flares are Limited flares... "Bushwackers" are bushwackers.. big difference! =)

When I lived in Orange County, I saw one in the pearl white, I literally stopped what I was doing and stared as it drove off into the sunset. It was that beautiful!! Does anybody know if that was a factory color option? Because the rig that I saw, was pearl white all over, even the license plate surround, the bumpers, the fenders, even the wind deflector!!!
 
There are '00+ 4Runners that came in all natural white similar to the Sport Models but weren't offered as a Sport model.
