What's up, folks?? Since the wife's van finally crapped out on us, I decided to let her use my Charger if she let me pick out the next used ride. Found a nice black 1994 4Runner; V6 4WD, 153,000 miles. Already re-painted the front and rear wiper arms, the grill, threw some JB weld on the washer reservoir, and got the tint replaced. Looking good so far, but it could use a paint job (clear coat peeling) and minor body work (dents, scrapes). Hoping to get a transmission flush, new valve cover gaskets (minor seepage), and hopefully a new timing belt installed when the budget allows.
Guy who sold it had already installed 4 new Faulkner All-Terrain tires and a nice Kenwood deck with a Memphis Subwoofer, so I'm happy with the sound. Looking to replace the "Toyota" lettering on the back, as I'm missing my "yo". Haven't had a chance to take her off-road yet, but looking for an opportunity to take it down to Topsail for a fishing trip. Anyway, nice to be here and looking forward to learning a few things.
