FCC ID on key FOB

I need to get another key FOB as my new to me 2004 SE 4Runner only came with one. I know you have to get the FOB with the correct FCC ID number but I can't read the number on my existing worn FOB. Are all 2004's the same? How would I find this number. I would like to order one from e-bay because my local dealer wants over $100

Hi I work in the tech industry, the FCC ID is nothing more than a cert that the device does not cause radio interference (specifically to aircraft/emergency services etc) I acknowledge, that it is more than that and I conceed I am being simplistic. please dont lecture me about FCC parts 15b, 16 etc - I used to live in that world...

where the dealer has you by the balls - is the electronic id of the vehicle - I am pretty sure (not 100%) that the dealer codes the transmitter to the VIN of the vehicle, so that it will open your car, not someone elses.

I think you are stuck with the $100 price

I bought one on ebay for $20 (new & toyota) and it came with instructions for programing it for your runner. It fit several model years.
