Been browsing this board for awhile, thought I would finally say hello. This is my new 1991 SR5 4x4 V6. Full blown Toyota addict, hoping to get a 3rd generation 4Runner soon.

Picked this baby up for $9500CND, 170,000kms, all receipts. Very well taken care up, so I snatched it up as soon as I could.

I also have a 1990 Toyota Pickup 2WD, mint condition with 92,000 miles. Sitting neglected with no plates on it right now :(

Anyways, HI!

Welcome to the board!! That's a very nice ride. :thumb:

Since I live in the southern part of the US, what's all that white stuff all over the ground?? ;):

Welcome to the board.....

jharris, I am not sure what that stuff is. I thought he might have taken those on the sugar white beaches in Destin, FL......:jester:

Thanks mates :)
You lucky buggars that don't have snow have my envy.
We have it about 8 months of the year :50cal:

Took her on the trails again tonight, plowed my own trail through the snow this time, have yet to get stuck :p

Nothing more fun than driving past skiers and snowmobilers that give you dirty looks for being on 'their' trails. They seem to forget that the trails are roads in the summer. Some people just get so greedy.

MAAAN those are some nice shots! Congrats on the new purchase. Looks like you got your self a winner, btw... you suck for being able to get a tire carrier from the factory!! :P

;)

Yep, that tire rack on the back is awesome. Though it doesn't like the cold (-30c) too much, tends to stick and the clasp doesn't lock. Found that out the hard way, had to tie it closed with a plastic grocery bag :) Needless to say I have some rope onboard now ;)

Can't wait to get new shoes and wheels on it, then I can take the cover off without embarrasment :D

Great photos!! I have some new wallpaper now, thanks. Thats nice ride you have there along with some beautiful scenery. I love two tracking in the winter time.

Looks good, the procomps are pretty popular too, but I guess they are more popular on the 3rd gens... if you go over and search on yotatech.com you will get tons of comparisons/votes/ideas over there.

Hey man, great lookin' Runner you got there. Love the pics, they would make for some pretty sweet posters.
I agree the pictures are wonderful. I also get the impression that you don't want to be out there without a great vehicle, one that won't crap out on you.

Congrats on being January 2004 4Runner of the month. I also like having a 2nd generation winning, hopefully all generations will win.

2nd generx'ers

I do believe the 2nd generation is one of the sexiest 4x$'s to ever to come from Toyota.

Despite routine maintanence fixes since 120,000 miles, this 1995 SR5 has proven to the least expensive 4Runner I have owned.

Are there room for more 2nd generx'ers like myself within this photo shoot ??

Congratulations from a former 4ROTM!

Very nice truck and absolutely great photos of it in the great outdoors.

Thanks for the effort!
