Feeler - 2010 Toyota Tundra SR5 - Reg Cab Short Bed - Built

Doing a feeler for my 'work' truck as it doesn't get used much / at all and I could certainly use the funds. I love the truck and would hate to see it go but perhaps it's time to part with this one.

Just got done doing a full suspension rebuild / update - front coil overs rebuild with new shafts and seals, rear shocks were replaced with 12" versions in addition to the Camburg lift shackle. Regular maintenance always done (diff / transfer case fluids with Amsoil 75/90 severe gear, lube drive shafts, regularly check air filter and cabin air filter, change engine oil with Amsoil and Wix filters). Currently without front sway-bar, I don't tow much and it drives great without it - I do have it and it can be installed.

I've looked in to importing to the USA and it seems as though if the vehicle is sold in both the USA and Canada all that is required is a sticker indicating emission standards adherence. Another document is available through the NHTSA which outlines how to import a vehicle from Canada.

It was great while I could do it - unfortunately my back isn't playing nice and I doubt I'll be able to go back to it.

Truck was used on logging / rig roads as I was / am (I guess) a Measurement While Drilling Operator (MWD). Loaded up my gear in the Tundra and set off for the rig - worked great and I loved it!

That's what I am hoping - someone realizes that I'm flexible on price if you're coming up from the States and that your dollar goes a long way right now up here.

I should post up on the other forums I'm a member of - I was kinda floating the idea of selling it (if I get the right price!) but perhaps I should just push forward with my other two (Fiesta ST and 4Runner) and use them when I can.

what do these go for right now? i've never researched but i thought, even at the original price, that it would be gone by now. $15k seems really low for this. i realize it's only a single cab but still. when you account for the suspension and armor and then consider it's a Tundra that's only 5years old... seems like a great deal!

i had an all stock 2010 tundra sr5 double cab 2wd and the price fell quick after a couple years. being 4x4 and all the parts i would think his original price would be pretty fair. they dont hold their value like a tacoma for some reason.

2wd has a much lower resale value.

I wish I had an extra $15gs I'd take it. Me & my GF dont have kids so reg cab is fine.

It is strange - Tundra's do relatively well up here in Canada though, they've found a solid following in the full size market. 2WD's just aren't an option up here really.

Its priced VERY aggressively for a US buyer - the whole reason for it is that the exchange puts it at around $20k in to my pocket which is what I would like to get for it in the real world. Best case is my original price but I had no interest in it at all when it was higher.

This truck is very unique and thus has a limited target group - it's done up 'right' in my mind so far (I just added the electrical bits I forgot about in the top add along with my new price) and I hope it goes to a place where it will be used. My back sucks and I don't think the same type of work is in my future and so I can part with this one, albeit reluctantly. I love this truck, very hard decision but a sitting truck doesn't pay the mortgage.

I never noticed, but you may want to mention if it is. Was this with the 5.7? I think I recall seeing a singlecab with the 5.7 in 4x4. That would be a beast, and stupid fast.

Yes it certainly is the 5.7L. It's got tons of passing power that's for sure! Even handled the 35's not too poorly.

There was another RCSB in Calgary that was recently sold that had a supercharger. Talk about crazy! Naturally aspirated was enough for me on this one!

It's somewhere around 14-15mpg - right now we're on winter gas and it reads 12.5mpg but that's on bigger than stock 33" tires too. And I don't have a light right foot! It's too easy to use the torque this has available...

Paid off in full - clean title, active, couple fender benders (I got the front bumper due to hitting a deer) but nothing major (no panels replaced nor mechanical items replaced besides drive shaft which tow company screwed up).
