Feeler: End of March

Awesome. I've got some guys over on TW that are interested as well. Right now I'm leaning towards Mojave due to that everyone is 2wd except me at this point. Still early in the feeler and I'm hoping to have a better idea of who's committed by mid to late Feb.

I've done all 3 ideas/areas you listed so I'm not worried about it and I have locker. I also have all the maps and routes/photos/video that I have done in those areas if that helps with your planning.

Mojave we did from east to west from the starting at the Avi Casino along the Colorado River and finished at Afton Canyon and hit everything in between crossing up and down north to south as we made our way west to see the most in 3 days.

Awesome, makes me feel better about planning the trip having someone with knowledge of the potential routes along. You're also the last person I'm worried about being 2wd :cheers:
 
I've been meaning to do this trip. Timing is good for me. I will need two weeks notice for exact dates to get the time off though.
 
[MENTION=123332]Drunner97[/MENTION] 1 request would be (Camp Phallus) in Caruthers Canyon is a must you won't regret it there's a particular spot hidden by over growth there that most people don't even know about unless someone has taken you there first and it can hold like 7-10 rigs,has picnic tables, fire pit,and barbecue pit, and the area it's located at is absolutely amazing it's the only area like in the entire Mojave. No boring road side camping

Gosh Dang! This looks so fun too bad family is just getting back from Thailand and PI vacation.
 
just attempted to get the approval from the wife, and she denied with saying our son (1 year old) is only going to eat dirt and bugs if we tag along. sounds like an amazing trip though!!! i hope you and your boy have fun and enjoy.

What's wrong with dirt and bugs? If it was good enough in the 80s it's good enough now! Looking like it's going to be a small group. I had some initial interest on tw but nobody has really confirmed.
 
Well that didn't take long...

Since we weren't in any sort of crunch mode, work decided to manufacture one from now till the end of May. My most important trip coming up is to Moab in April which I'll be lucky to get off now, I don't think I can swing another three days mid week in March too :(

Yeah that's a bummer. I knew going into this that it was going to be hard for people to make it. Unfortunately I don't full weekends with the kid because his mom has Sunday visitation so when he's got school breaks I have to schedule trips during the week.

bumpity bump. Still no confirmed.

Think I might just can this ride and meet up with another guy running Joshua Tree the same week. Even though that would be Joshua Tree 2 weeks in a row I can never get enough of that place.
 
Getting close to canceling this due to lack of interest. I may potentially change the dates to 31st to 2. Thursday to Saturday.
