I'm going to be moving up from my 4th gen into a 5th gen or a 3rd gen tacoma soon. I'm curious to see what the general consensus is as far as how much my truck is worth. Please let me know if there's a different subforum I should be posting this in. Again, this is not a classified post, merely a feeler for what people think this truck is worth.
2003 SR5
171k miles
Mods:
- Shrockworks front bumper
- No front sway bar
- Front suspension - OME 90000 shocks with OME heavy duty coils *3" lift*
- Rear suspension - Toytec superflex coils with Bilstein 5100 shocks *2.5" lift*
- Rear SS brakes lines
- Rear Metaltech 4x4 trailing arms
- Full skids from RCI
- 4x4Innovations sliders
- Custom bi-xenon headlights built at Lightwerkz in NJ
- BajaRack roof rack with Hi-Lift Mount
- CBI light/antenna hood mounts (the ones that attach at the hood hinges)
- Pioneer double-DINN radio with XM, back up camera compatibility
- 270/70/17 Load E GoodYear MT/R Kevlar tires (including spare)
- Weathertech cargo mat
- All-season interior mats
Regular maintenance completed on time, oil changes have always been synthetic and either Toyota or Pennzoil filters used.
99.9% of miles are highway miles, no mudding when offroading.
Currently has a small dent in rear pass. quarter panel from previous owner
Needs new exhaust system from muffler back
Needs AC checked.
Recently done:
- New Toyota Battery
- Water pump
- Power steering pump
- Radiator replaced
- AC Condenser replaced
- Both CV's replaced with NAPA axles
- Rear main seal replaced
- A/T front seal replaced (while doing main seal)
- Front exhaust gaskets replaced (while doing main seal)
- Transmission fluid replaced (while doing main seal)
- Transfer case fluid replaced (while doing main seal)
Truck has been in 2 accidents
1:
Front driver fender hit by Mack truck (prior to Shrockworks bumper)
- driver's side tie rod replaced
- bumper, fender/liner, headlight, fog light replaced
- All repairs done under insurance at Enzo Auto Body in Mamaroneck NY
2:
Wheel detached at 5mph after all 6 studs broke on faulty wheel bearing assy.
- Repaired under insurance at Northern Westchester Autobody in Bedford Hills, NY
All paperwork available with the vehicle.
I would guess this truck to be around $8k due to the work that needs to be done.
What do you guys think?
