Feels good to be back

Just got back last Sunday from Iraq and it felt so good to get behind the wheel of my truck, I have been itching just to wash it. I have been ordering alot of parts for it since I have been gone and just started getting them on there. Today I installed my new Pioneer DEH-1200MP radio along with the Taco Whip mod and after doing all of that I gave her a nice bath which was def. over due. I was hoping to get my roof rack put on but the tabs are a little to wide so my dad is going to grind them down so I can get it on, next thursday I go and pick up my LC wheels that I got for $200 in excellent condition I havent decided if I want to powder coat them or not guess well see. The next couple of weeks I will be dropping the engine and tranny so I can install my headers, electric fan and do a lil cleaning inside the engine bay and on the engine not that its that dirty but I love seeing things clean. I will then change the oil in the supercharger and mind as well do a tune up on it while its out and easy to get to the spark plugs after I get all of that installed and back in the truck I will be having my exhaust done with a Borla exhaust and URD rear simulator and have I mentioned how great it feels to be back in a country that is FREE and I can do as I feel for the most part.

yeah welcome home man! where were you in iraq? i was over there in 09-10 and i know it felt so good to be home when i came home
 
I was there in 09-10 as well but I deploy out to arifjhan kuwait and I do convoys with the army through out Iraq I have been to every base you can think of same as this deployment. where were you stationed at you may have seen us come through or even worked together

Nice find on the LC wheels. My favorite wheel. I've been keeping an eye out for a set myself.

Thanks for the service! Welcome home! Man, what a steal on the LC wheels. I know if I was w.o my baby (truck and girl :D) for more than a day I would flip unless it in a garage and I have the keys hidden! :D
