Fender mirror for 1998 4Runner

I am not sure if they even make fender mirrors for 4Runner but I have seen them a lot on alll of the Toyota Surf's.
Can anybody tell me where can I buy a fender mirror for my 1998 4Runner.
Has anybody got it installed, if yes then please post the picture.

never seen one from a meber here, talk to johnd90 he has teh surf connection and can order pretty much any stock surf part, i think the company is called jdm...

others will pipe up and complete the information.
 
Yes. A local JDM house should be able to order you the part. You may also try getting on one of the Australian Hilux Surf forums and asking somebody to pull you one from a JY down there and mailing it. I wouls also recommend toyotadiesel.com and finding somebody who has a KZN-185 half cut, as most guys who do diesel swaps do not use the fender mirrors. You may be able to get away pretty cheaply. They are out there, and between the options listed above you should be able to find a couple without too much trouble.

You may give TRDParts4U a call as well... they may be able to order it or find the part number... $$$.

Aren't they kinda useless for North America cause they are designed for the driver sitting on the right side to use that mirror unless they are available on the other side as well.

Here is the pics of the US Runner with fender mirrors, this guy did a lot of JDM updates.

BTW i am pretty sure that 2nd gen surfs came with fender mirrors on both sides, so if you wanted you could use 2nd gen mirrors for both sides.

Sweet this is exactly what I was looking for but do they come in little bigger size?

I dont want for them for any practical reason, its just they look super cool in my opinion. :)
Well somebody on this site suggested me to contact Jason Burtman (Burtman Industries) . Jason was super fast to reply, but the price is little bit on the higher side $200 :(.

I dont need a brand new one, a used one is good.
 
Here is mine. Majority of the parts are imported from Japan from my contact who directly gets parts from Toyota dealerships. The downside is that price is fairly expensive.

wowo thats a killer 4Runnner. This one is one of the most impressive looking 4Runner I have ever seen. Excellent work bud..
BTW how much did you pay for that Jaos Brush guard if you dont mind telling me and how much lift have you done on this?

Thanks......I got a killer deal on it, I would never pay full price that :biggrin2:. As for the lift its got the Performance products 1" lift springs with bilstein shocks.

I know these Jaos ones go for about 1,000 dolalrs which is a hack lot of money for me and cant afford to spend that much.

One question here...how to tell if my 4Runner came with a factory keyless entry? I asked the seller and he told me that he never got one and it was only an option on the 99 and 00. Mine is 98 ltd.

Also from where and for how much did you get your spoiler...even though there is clear shot of your spoiler but I can still see its looks sweeeeeeeeet

Heres a better shot of the back, I picked up the spoiler for $120 and paid $85 to have it painted.

Thats wicked. Now I am falling in love with that ladder :). Yo know what I am gonna ask next. How much did you pay for the ladder and from where did you bought it? :) Do you have some shots of the back door open...I wnat to see how the ladder looks after door open.

BTW you know this picture is my desktop bakcground now. Best 4Runner

that is the jaos Ladder which i believe is discontinued along with the front lower skid plate.
