Hi i have few questions on a recently purchased 1991 SR5. any feedback would be greatly appreachiated
1)Widows: All the windows work from the driver controll (rear 2 are slow), but none from other door controls work, except rear driver side wich will go down but not up. (i have checked the window lock button). Also, the tailgate window works fine from key and switch, but ocasionaly goes down by itself when i am not around(i come out to go drive and it is mysteriously down) i have read that a common problem is the ground wires, could this be the problem?
2)Randomly while driving the engine shudders (hard to explain, but almost as if the engine stalls briefly(<1sec), i see the check engine light flash, but it continues running fine after). Dealership gave no helpful advice and said i could throw hundreds of dollars trying to figure it out with no success.
3)Not a big issue, but the rear license plate light dont work(i have replaced the bulbs)(my 4runner has the rear mount spare tire that swings out)
4) power antenna will grind continuously just before it gets all the way up until motor shuts off. The mast works fine ie. greased and no kinks. also, if i pull it the rest of the way up it stays there when the motor tries to take it down
Also, i plan on buying rectangular fog light to put on either side of the front license plate, but im not sure how i should mount them.
