just finished up tonight. still sittin on the 33's. waitin on my wheels to come in next week so i can throw the 35's on. may try to borrow a set of 37's to see if they clear.

Front:6" fabtech (for tacoma)
Rear:OME 851's, revtek spacer, procomp es3000 shocks, custom trac bar
3" body lift
the rear sits 1 1/2"s higher than the front. the 851's are new, so im gonna give it time to see if they settle any, but the difference in height really dosen't bother me.

that thing is HUGE! I hope more people take this approach...was it hard to get the Taco front to fit?

jeeps are solid axle trucks.......i was just looking for more clearance and i got the lift at a REALLY good deal. plus i wanted to do somthing with my runner that hasn't been done that much. dont worry, the next step is a solid axle

This is true...
the only thing I noticed, is that drop bracket hangs really low. Now you would gain plenty of ground clearance in the middle of the truck around the B-pillar area, but down the center, it looks like your ground clearance is less than it would be with just a set of lift springs...
I'm pretty sure my front skid is AT LEAST 2" higher from the ground than yours is...
I'm not knocking your work, I think it's cool that you're doing something untouched by most, just wondering what you think about it...

I know jeeps are solid axle, thats why i referred to the chevy and their full size trucks and the massive drop brackets people put on them.
Im with a lot of people tho im sure, if your gonna drop the 1500 on the drop bracket tacoma lift, why not SAS it instead. but you said you got it cheap so its understandable.
Im not saying its not unique in its own way, im just saying im not a fan.
And agree with LINY4Runner that the ground clearance at your bracket is definatly affected I still hit my front skid on things, and its pretty tucked up because my lower A-arms droop down just on flat ground. but with being able to clear 35's you will get that .75" more ground clearance at the rear diff over me... but it doesnt help much in the front over a traditional lift

i understand where your coming from and i respect that. i actually have most of the parts i need to do the SAS (which was my original plan), but i came across the fabtech lift for $200. so i figured why the hell not? i can run the drop bracket until i collect the rest of the parts i need to do the SAS. :bigok:

i also got rid of those low hanging shock mounts and added some new ones to the side of the axle tube out of harms way
