Finally a bumper I could fall in love with! And I even run an RCI engine skid. Looks great! Then I'll just bolt my license plate over the big light bar hole.

I wouldn't mind being on that first group buy if the price stays close to $700.

I don’t know, I have mixed opinions on this. There’s not a good place to mount a front plate and it to be honest it looks really bulky to me, like an ARB bumper vs pretty much everything else. I like the idea but Im not sold on the execution.

I like it, but I am with you in regards to seeming bulky. I'd like something that sticks a bit closer to the front. I also wish there was an option to completely cut out the center section and have metal go all the way up to the grill, rather than have the few inches of plastic still above the bumper. There may be reasons that isn't possible though.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I don't think this is the first low pro bumper for 10-13 model 4runners. I believe C4 Fab made a set before, but they stop making it because it wasn't profitable. Well, i'm guessing it wasn't profitable, which is why they stopped making it.

How can it not be profitable? If you only manufacture it to order you're just reusing templates already made. I would think you could still offer it and only manufacture it when necessary.

Discontinued...that is, if it ever reached production. Southern Style was supposed to make one, too. Theirs seems to be on indefinite hiatus.

Compared to SR5s/Limiteds, there are relatively very few 10-13 Trail 4Runners out there. It seems that it's easier to make this bumper work with the TE, but the 10-13 SR5/Limited trucks' bumper covers hang down quite a bit lower than the TE, and they have that chrome trim piece that goes all the way across the front. I wonder if a LoPro on a Limited or SR5 would actually reduce your approach angle, unless you have to cut a bunch of the center part of the factory bumper cover off. But then that might involve cutting the middle section of that chrome trim out, too.

If one is made strictly for the TEs, I will absolutely trim up my SR5 bumper cover so that it would fit.

I think part of the low hanging fruit is the air dam on the sr5/l that blends into the lower front part of the bumper, I don't know if trails had the air dam? Either way I removed mine a long time ago, and the chrome strip isn't a big deal to cut either. This is basically c4s design but I made it myself, a trail designed hybrid should go onto a sr5/L with no big hiccups
