Finally did it! Upgraded to 5th gen 20" limited wheels!

I've been wanting the rims since they first came out in 2010... and finally had a good reason to buy. Needed new tires and found a great deal on all 5 wheels with tires with around 1k miles on them! Really like the ride and looks.

That looks amazing. Note to self: buy a dark grey V8 4th gen, and put those exact wheels on it.

Just did the TPMS bypass mod... no more blinking light!

Direct bolt on, no modifications necessary. Only issues are either swapping the TPMS or turning off the sensor dash light, and also remembering that the larger tire size will add ~3% to your MPH. My plan is to swap in the TPMS once I need new tires and do the TPMS sensor mod to turn off the annoying blinking light on my dash.

May as well do new TPMS. Discount Tire did all 5 with whatever they had in stock for I think $30 a tire and programmed them. Cheap insurance and then when you go to sell, it isn't a modified light on the dash.

Might as well give an update. Switched the tires to MIchelin Defender LTX 265/50R20 and installed a 2” Dobinsons lift kit. Rides better than new!

Why put such a huge wheel on a 4WD? Less wheel, more rubber is better. Looks like it never sees dirt tho so ¯\_(°~°)_/¯

Because it’s my preference and money? Regardless, it’s a family hauler and I have no time to go off-roading so I prefer the look of larger rims.
