finally done more pics tires , cold air intake

finally got my tires installed. 265/70 /17 hankook dynapro at-m. they look great. no noise , handling is great. also installed my k/n cold air intake. took around 1/2 hour give or take a little. super easy to install. took it out that night , was a little leary of the noise , but after driving it a couple day i love it. better throttle responce , little more juice in the higher rmp range. i like. well just get myself some spidertrax , magna flow and should be done till i need tires again. them hopefully ome lift & 33" tires. also have the parts to extend my rear diff breather hopefully this weekend???

in also considering a 1.5" body lift. any input would be helpfull. were to get it , easy to install? i had a body lift on my tacoma that was easy to install as well.

You should get the 1" bodylift from Toytec. I just installed it and LOVE it!

Your sig says one inch spacer, is the spacer 1" or is the net lift from the spacer supposed to be 1"?

i got the k/n from a memeber on the board. really have no preferance , from everytrhing i read. the 77 actually has less hp the the plastic tube. im think it is due to the heat?? not sure though. if you dont mind the noise these make they are great. i really got on ot today and it was really loud. hopefully get my exhaust to offset it. thanks

i actually looked on there web site after i saw you sig the other bay. i didnt see it there. how easy was it to install?? do you have to move the rad?? thats probally the only think that might have to move.

Move the rad? Install was pretty easy. Only slight problem we ran into was the fan. Since I off road and flex a lot we didn't want the fan hitting the plastic piece in front of it and so we did some trimming. Other than that it's pretty straight forward.

i ment move the radiator. but i see you just trimmer the shroud. i looked after you replied i saw it there. hopfully after christmas i will get one. thanks

Myself and two other guys but you could do it alone, however, i would suggest at least one other person so you can torque down the bolts (one guy holds the top with a ratchet while the guy on the ground tightens the bolts with the air gun).

yeah, thats what i figured. I am looking into doing that, but i might just have my friends shop do it, shouldnt cost too much for labor i dont think.

I have The hankook Dynapro's they are great shoes... Deep tread and minimal road noise... plus they are super thick if you like to go on some moderate trails...

how long have yo had your shoes?? do they look like the are wearing good?? i cant wait to get some snow up here to try them out.

I dont even think they are really wearing... still have their whiskers and rigid edges on the blocks ... I have had them on the runner for about 4k now...

thats great. hope mine last a long time. althoughi do alot of highway driving so well see.
