Well I guess 91% finished. Today I cleaned and lubed my AFE CAI filter and cleaned the throttle body.
I say 91% because I am still waiting for the lube to dry overnight before putting it on. It took a long time to dry naturally after cleaning it with the cleaner solution and water since it wasn too hot and dry in the aternoon on Long Island but the weather was a dam far cry from the week of rain :violin:
I cleaned the throttle body but this time I actually unscrewed it of to see and clean the other side. Amazingly it still looked clean(still some black stuff) from when I had done it last year when I attached the New AFE CAI. I guess I am doing something right!
For the ones that have done this have you torqued it to a # or just hand tight good enough- the 4 bolts that connect the throttle body???
My OME Panasonic batt was low on fluid so I got some stuff from the Auto Zone guy and topped her off. She starts MUCH BETTER than she did before. This helped or because it is and OME factory batt, just do upgrade to OPTIMA BATTERY???
Anyone have feedback on the throttle body spacers? Are they worth my money/pesos/euros/rubles/yen and my first born-shes an ass anyway:spider:
Wife had the camera hiking so no pics but will try to post something tomorrow.
I have 2 BIG IDEAS I want to throw at you all and get your opinions-
1.DO I keep my rig which is running SWEET has great memories like going cross country to Moab,an Arches NP, Yellowstone, Denver etccc and purchase all the goodies I want like a lift, for bigger tires- BFG AT's, Magnaflo exhaust, Budbilt skids and rock sliders for my 2008 4Runner with 60,000 miles.
2.OR Trade in the great gal for a new 2011 4Runner Limited LOADED with all the goodies and maybe even changes the OME shoes to BFG ATs???
We're trying to make the monthly payments the same as paying right now, little to no $ down 500-2000 no more. Excel Credit so will get their best rate.
Thanks and Thoughts??????
