just so happens to be still connected to a 1999 sport but...

I could not resist for $500 off craigs list like 2 miles from me. my wife has been away on a business trip all week and will be home in 30 mins. I'm going to get some words. if your interested in seeing somebody be beaten with a sport hood.... this is your chance.

its a MN truck so the frame is pretty bad, had pink milkshake and the dude fried the transmission. it's got rust all over really. It started it's life in CA so it has the double cat.

I will maybe try and save it if I can find a decent transmission. the engine seems to run just fine no codes.

it probably could give a 3-4 more years in the condition it's in right now.

the exhaust is missing, the cross over is there but then nothing from there back. so really it's probably just not worth it. I'm going to strip it down and take everything I can for core charges.

I feel bad doing it but I would have to put $2-3K into it and with the rust it's just not really worth it.

You could sell parts off a 99 for 3 grand easy. Motors, Ecu's, interior trim pieces, etc.

When you show your wife how much money you made off your little hobby made she won't be as mad.
 
I'll take all the 4WD stuff off your hands, including the fried trans and TC

You can sell that sport hood for $500 lol
 
If you don't want to try to save it, you can easily triple your money on that thing all day long and twice on Tuesday.

Yea but I’m putting anything I make of off it into the offshore account. So as far as she is concerned no money was made.

This one has 70k miles on it and it’s been problem free. I don’t expect it will last as long as a Toyota but so far it’s been terrific.

Yeah I did the same thing but drove home a 2000 $550 parts rig. She keeps hitting me with "When can you get that damn thing out of the driveway". I like having a carcass to pick off of.
