It's a 2004. I took your advice and cut the welded part off with a dremel and cut the bolt with the weld nut with a small saw. The weld nut shot back up but luckily it isn't rattling around during driving...at least that I can hear.
Is anyone selling the running boards they are taking off, and if so, what is a typical asking price?
