Finally got my 3rd Gen. YEE HAAWW!!!

OK guys I finally took the plunge and hopefully I got a winner... I'm now the owner of a 1999 4Runner Limited, 123k miles, fully loaded, etc... Thanks for all you guys help with my search for a good 3rd Gen. I hope to keep learning about these awesome vehicles and maybe I can give some input on stuff in due time. I'm real particular about keeping seats in good shape. The leather and stitching in this one I just bought is in great shape. Where could I get some really good seat covers that will protect the seats and stitching from wearing out? Thanks for everything everybody!!!!

I think the seats with the best fit and quality would have to be the Wet Okole's.

The consensus is Wet Okole's for good neoprene seats. They are $250 a set but apparently worth it. I might get some soon, but my leather is already annihilated.

Don't temp us with just one pic though. As you will learn, more, especially concerning pics, is better with this crowd.

It looks great though. New tires, or close to it I take it. At 100k, my driver's seat looks like a rabid badger tore through it.

As for seat covers, Wet Okole's are the best choice IMO. I have them in my 4Runner and Tacoma and they fit perfect, look great, and are made with better quality materials than other brands like Coverking.

Ha! This post could've almost been mine, the YEE HAW in particular. I picked up my 98 Limited two days ago and was waiting for the BMV to open yesterday morning. Happened across this while looking more at neoprene to go over the leather but after reading here, I'm thinking I need to confirm the absence of some looming milkshake meltdown (yeesh, that would SUCK)...and fix my dash clock, haha.
