Congratulations

Congrats on the new 4 runner. I have a 1995 V6 also. You'll find that these forums are a great resource for questions you may have.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay. I'm trying to wiegh out the cost of how much I've put into my car and how much a different one would cost

I bought mine for 6500. I know this is on the high end, but since the vehicle was in excellent shape and obviously very well cared for, I went for it.

I paid $5900 for mine, its also in really good condition. I bought it from an automotive technician. :)

Nice Rig......lookin' good without the Grandpa Boards too......

Thanks!

The running boards just dont look right. I notice alot of people take them off.

nice truck man. looks to be in real good shape for the price you paid. I like the fender flares, im going to buy those bushwacker flares soon.

I took my boards off also, I like how it looks, plus i find it easier to get in and out without them...except the rear suspension and the low gas tank/shield look kindof funny. I think some fresh black paint on those parts may help though

Very nice. Super clean man! Well I got my rig for 1k and spent 1,850 on motor and trans plus countless hours of labor but I think I'll just keep on tinkering away and maybe someday have a rig as nice as yours.

Thanks guys

So I went to put the spare tire back up underneath the rear of the truck last night and I go to slide the cranking mechanism through the hole in the bumper over to the the piece it hooks into and realise that I cant. there is a metal piece up under the bumper around the hole that will only allow the rod to slide straight into the back and not on an angle, so I looked at a picture or two of similar 4runners on this site and realise that my bumper may be different, possibly off of an older 4runner? or maybe a truck?

Anyways, what do you guys think? Its definitely not the original bumper because the hole doesnt line up with the winch mechanism. Any of you Toyota Guru's have any suggestions as to what this bumper could be from? Im assuming its from a 88-92 4Runner or something.
