finally got my Daystar lift installed

It was pretty straight forward install following this DIY thread (even though there's no pics):

The only thing I recommend is def rent a spring compressor for the rear. Idk how anyone manages to squeeze back in the spring otherwise.

The biggest pain in the ass part was I decided to swap out CV joints while I had it apart (torn boots). I got the new shaft in only to find the threaded end was damaged/too goobered up to start the nut. So I had to take it all back off and install the 2nd new one i had for the other side and it did NOT want to come out of the diff. Currently waiting on NAPA to replace this one.

Thanks - I've thought about that, and I'd def paint it over plasti-dip since I'd want it totally permanent. I hate chrome. My Super Duty has chrome rims & mirrors sadly lol

Looks good! Just finished putting mine in a couple days ago and couldn't be happier. To get rid of the chrome you should do the BHLM and grill. I even did the lower section of the grill and would recommend it.
