finally got my Enkei's back on w/ Japanese headlights

I actually like the pre 06 4Runner's reflectors on the rear bumper (wired up with my lights)...I think the 06 looks a little plain in that area..maybe it is just because I am use to seeing them back there

I'm wondering if those new LED tails would be too much red back there since the japanese tails I have now give it more of a black look instead of "a lot of red"

plus...would the all red led tails make the black japanese headlights look a little out of place?

No, they will be good looking. I was the first in this forum and probably in North America who exchange the old filament tails to LED. Actually they are not as pinkie as 03-05 ones, they have white turn signal part, red stop and smoked reverse. They do look better then stock 05 with pink all-around, so I don't think this will be an issue.

Looks really nice on yours, AlexJet....I wasnt a big fan of the stock PINK tails. I mean, would it have killed them to make them actually red instead of pink?!

I have LED's in my Japanese tails right now and they look/work great. I'll have to think more about the 06 style, but they do look nice on your Runner.

Btw, I notice you have "AirAid Throttle Body Spacer"...do they make one for the 05 vvti v8 yet? I got one from them a while back but it only worked through the 04's (so I put it on my dad's tundra).

Also, I'm thinking about spraying the inside of the fog light housing black to match the headlights...since it is a projector, spraying the inside of the housing shouldn't affect the beam. I'm not sure how I want to smoke the turn signals yet. But I think it looks pretty good with those two smoked to match the Japanese headlights. Comments?

Oops, sorry I didn't know it. Looks like its different then 03-04. This engine (03-04), actually was very old, I remember it on 99 Land Cruiser, and Toyota decides to upgrade it. The only hope is that AirAid will come up with a new one soon.

I got mine from http://www.sosperf.com/ for about $1350 shipped (edit..corrected from $1750). They are nice guys to deal with. Their website shows the Deep Six, but mine are the TRD style. Shoot them an email and ask them about the TRD rims for the 4Runner. (they also have a Supercharger for the 05 V8 that I'm keeping my eye on...even though the Lexus group says the newer toyota V8's cant handle boost)

Is The price with or without tires? If without tires than SOSP has increased their price. I was quoted $1350 shipped without tires. Ehh! It's still too much. There was a 20" set on FLOOR sale at Toyota of Orlando for $1650 with tires back in late November. They said it's for Tundra & Sequoia, but we all know it's also fit on 4runner. Too bad, I was there to shop for a 06 4Runner NOT for wheels. I came back a week before Christmas, and they were gone. I'm now saving $$$ penny by penny for Eagle 026/ Fuzion ZR setup.
