Finally, I am one of you!

It started for me in 1985 when I was a 15 year old and I was riding the bus to high school one day in the New Orleans area when I saw a weird looking Toyota truck with some kind of back or camper top on it. It was my first sighting of a 4 Runner. I have lusted since then. Well as the prices went up my hopes became dimmer and dimmer. But yesterday when I was looking at Jeep Patriots, I saw a 2005 V8 4X4 Sport Edition T4R. They needed to move a vehicle yesterday and I made the move. It has 29K on it and I got it for $24999.00. It is dead mint and loaded. I am very pleased and thankful.

Congratulations dude! 29k miles?!? That's very young for a 4runner. I foresee these things going over 200k+ miles easy while still running great and then some if well maintained. Again, congrats on the new family member that is your 4runner. :bigok:

I am very happy indeed and thanks for the comments. I actually got it at a Jeep dealer in Colonial Heights. Yes I was in the US Army Band for nearly 10 years. My 2000 PreRunner only has 31K on it. I have a feeling the T4R will see lot more use however.
