Finally got all the parts yesterday and got them all installed tonight. Plugs, wires, true flow filter, deck plate mod and did a little MAF and throttle body cleaning. All in all a good night in the garage. One problem I couldn't get the fuel filter to break loose for the life of me. I've using PB blaster for the past four days and it still wont come loose. You guys have any suggestions on get that thing to break apart. Thanks

very nice glad to see you got a trueflow filter one of the best filters ive seen to bad they went out of business

I used true flow on my 05 titan and loved it. It's basically the same as all my dirtbike air filters. Two stage foam. If it can keep dirt out my bike's motor it should do excellent in my runner

Yeah it's a 4". I would have went bigger but wasn't sure if a bigger one would've fit. The install turned out easy. I had a hole saw from work the perfect size so it made it simple.

Ha Ha I'll have to try a BFH on the filter. I tried a flare nut wrench....no luck. I'm might have to break down and take it to my mechanic

Air Filter

where the hell is everyone getting true flow air filters if they went outta business???
ive been looking all over the internet for them and cant find any. can you please send me a link to where you got it?

TRUE FLOW 40200 Air Filter: 1996-2002 Toyota 4 Runner Here's the part number for the air fiter. And you can use basic foam filter oil and cleaner to "recharge" it. Dirt bike foam filter oil can be found usually at any motorcycle shop or on the internet. I just us the stuff for my ditr bike works great. Nice and sticky!
