Finally New Tires!

After getting stuck and having come extremlely close to hydroplaning off of the road several times I decided it was time for some new tires...that was about 3 months ago, then I had to pay for a new catalytic converter and a bunch of other crap, yadayadayada so it was pushed back until today! I know I said I was going to go with the BFG ATs but I got a KILLER deal on these Revos! Plus alot of the reviews I read really turned me off on the BFGs... :bigok: Enough talk time for pics! The tires are 265/75/16... I gave em a nice shine and the runner a good wash... I like the finished product, :bigok:

Looks pretty good and that price seems great.

Definitely not as aggressive as the BFGs though.

The price was great. I took it to a few other places to see if I could get a better price and they told me to take the deal and run.

Yeah I know they are not as aggressive as the BFGs, but 99% of my driving is on the road.... and I figured that I need tires that are semi-capable off toad yet are very good on road tires...which these are.

My biggest concern with the BFGs was that they were going to get hard towards the end of their life resulting in terrible rain driving conditions...which they do according to all of the reviews I have read. Bottom line, I needed an AT tire with a slightly larger road bias than off road. If I were off roading more I would have gotten the BFGs.

Thanks, I put the T4R sticker there because the previous owner had put a sticker there and when they removed it there was a good bit of paint that went with it.

i love my bridgestone's and got bout the same deal when i bought mine.. i've had bfg's 2 but there's nothing special enough for me 2 wanna drop that much money on them again

Looks good! The Revos are the perfect choice for what you plan on using them for.

Ah, that's exactly what I want on my 4runner, same size. Fantastic deal, too!

However, I think I'll be going with the Toyo Open Country because they will be in the $600 installed range whereas the Revos will be $900+.

T4R sticker looks good. I love the color of your truck, same as my '94 Land Cruiser.

I had the BFG KO's on my '89 FJ62 but I like the Revos better which is what I have on my current LC.

those do look nice AND you got a good sounding deal. they remind me of nitto TGs in a way. i might have to put these as a possible choice on my tire list.
