Finally some mud!

Okay well I did manage to get a great amount of it off today using a hose for underneath and took it through the wash. I'd say I got 95% of it. It wasnt so much mud as it was really mushy grass and stuff like that.

just think of it this way: mud isn't supposed to be on, under or inside of your rig's components :) mud and the grime silt sand and abrasives its composed of is the arch enemy of all joints, moving parts, and most defintely lubricants, make sure you spray your steering rack pretty well too, leave a caked layer of mud on that for a week and see what happens...actually, don't :)

They way I see it, is that any form of wheeling is going to cost you sometimes. So you don't like mudding, thats cool but rock crawling and trail riding are sure to cost you a body panel or two, or all of them when you roll your truck. It's just about what you want to replace and what your willing to sacrifice to have a good time. There are safe ways to wheel, but I'm sure all of us who like to offroad will eventually see some consequences one way or another.

Just clean your truck off good, it doesn't look like the OP got in too thick to worry about much.
