Finally Time to Lift

Okay so i'm looking to get anywhere from 4-6" on my Runner. I've searched around on toytec, but i'm not sure exactly all the parts i will need and have to replace once the lift goes on. i'm wanting both suspension and body lift so i'm thinking suspension from toytec and probably a 2" bl from 4crawler. My goal is to run at least 295's.

I know you guys know you're stuff so help is greatly appreciated so i don't go out there and waste money on something i completely don't need. I want to do it big and do it right!

I recommend the complete OME 3" kit from toytec. Get a $30 diff drop for your CVs. 4crawler has good body lifts, don't forget to get a steering shaft extension and a radiator drop kit. I recommend a Sonoran Steel adjustable panhard bar also to make sure your rear axle is centered. This is a lot of lift for 33s and an overkill IMO. If you're planning on running 35s, it would be good.

i would say 4-6 inches total is definitely doable. i am basically going to do the same thing minus the BL. what i would recommend and what i am going to do is go with the either Toytec coilovers or OME 882's in the front with a 1" diff drop. for the back, i am doing 91-97 Landcruiser FRONT coils which give about 3-4 inches of lift on the 3rd gen. i am also going to get the Sonoran Steel adjustable panhard rod and extended bumpstops. i would say either do this with a BL or just get the Toytec ultimate lift with a BL

I have the Bilstein CO's upfront like what is included in the Toytec Ultimate lift and the Sonoran Steel 1.2 Rear only and front is 3" and rear is 4" lift. I have no body lift and clear the 285's just fine, once in a while I get a little rub (full lock and dropping down a rock step). I plan on a little fender well massaging to fix that and maybe get the 1" BL. The Sonoran Steel 1.2 kit might be the way to go for you since you want the LC coils in back. Then add the 4crawler bl in either 1" or 1.5", with the 1.5 you can clear 35's with a little fender well massaging.

This is a lot of lift for 33s and an overkill IMO. If you're planning on running 35s, it would be good.

like i said i just want to run at least 33's. 35's would be awesome too!

I personally wouldnt run a BL that big. 1.5 or 2" MAX. My opinion though.

honestly, Ive seen several people start with rear coils from OME and they dont cut it... had several people come and ask me where I got my LC coils from to replace OME rear coils.

My humble opinion would be to go with an OME or Toytec front coilover system with the diff drop,

then get some 8 wrap or 9 wrap LC coils from Katy at ROCKI TOP AUTO

You can then match the rear shocks to whatever you put up front (whether bilstein with the Toytec or OME with the OME setup)

I like having OEM toyota coils in the back... paint em up real nice like I shoulda done with mine! :0)

Dude... that thing is a beast, looks awesome, but you are talking about a straight axle conversion... and tons of other stuff there... I dont even know, everything on the suspension...

OK one you are talking SAS everyone I have talked too says plan on 10k min and can be a little more and yes that is whether you go leaf or Link arm set-up then another 7 hundred plus out back. Of course if you junkyard the parts and do the labor yourself it will be considerably cheaper. like only in hte 5-8k range..LOL

solid axle swap
