Finally utilized the ATRAC. WOW! Also, question about pinstripes :(

My brother and I hit some fairly easy trails after work today. He took his '69 Bronco with a lift and mud tires, while I took my completely stock 4runner with the lame Dunlops. He couldn't keep up with me at all!

I only took a couple pics with my iphone.

I know I only took a couple lame pics but I could not believe how well ATRAC performed. I climbed a hill I thought I would never be able to climb. My brother couldn't even make it halfway up. I'm more impressed everytime I drive this truck.

Now, I went through a trail that was a little too narrow. I got a few scratches on the passenger side. Anyone have any advice to get them out? I don't think they are through the paint. I read possibly Rubbing Compound. What else can I do? I'm a little choked about it!

My advice....dont buy anything called "rubbing compound". Do a little research on polishes and find the proper product. I would recommend Meguairs 105 and 205. 105 being more agressive then step 2 being 205 more of a finish polish. These could be used by hand but a decent random orbital polisher will work (porter cable 7424).

May I suggest...as I always do...check out http://truthindetailing.com/Forum/index.php and search around about polishing out scratches.

I do like that vintage Bronco, those things are pretty cool.
