She's a 2002 SR5 Sport!

My vehicle history:
1997 Mazda 626 LX (nice, but transmission died)
1995 Honda Accord EX (Awesome car, sold)
1995 Acura Integra (Prev owner destroyed it, was a nightmare)
1994 Toyota Camry (Refused to die, rust was killing it, just sold)
1995 Toyota Camry (Still running, great car)
2002 SR5 Sport!

My wife and I were looking mostly at Subaru's (forester & outback) and Toyota's (4runner &highlander) after eliminating the rest. We're mostly campers and light towing. I've wanted a 4runner for the last couple years and we looked at 3rd gen to 4th gen. We really couldn't justify spending more on the 4th gen which was about 15-18k for an 07-08 with near 100k, so we decided to go with the third gen. This would save us money, still do what we want, and give us room to get a higher mpg car later on. Plus, we still have our trusty Camry when we need that. We found this 2002 at a dealer and the previous owner was a lady who was pretty damn anal about maintenance and runs great.

FIRST HELL YEAH! EXPERIENCE: I've already bonded with my truck ha. My first hell yeah experience was during my 30 min drive to work during a snow storm and white out conditions 2 weeks ago. Gotta love Michigan. I was stressing during the drive, people in ditches and snow banks and I was still uncertain about how the 4x4 worked. After almost being rear ended by a semi and hitting a plow in front of me I decided to hit the 4wd button and it was like night and day! Especially after realizing I had been in rwd in a Michigan winter. Needless to say, it's everything I dreamed of lol! It's a beast!
