Finding a rear bumper for 85

Anyone know a good cheap source for an 85 rear bumper? I'm simply looking for a stock replacement... non-chrome. I got my front bumper for $35 new from rock auto, but the rear is $120 and $80 shipping? Next year, I will be replacing this anyway with an off-road bumper so just need something to get my inspection for tags and to look decent for the next year.

...nothing at local junk yards around me either as of now. thanks in advance for any help.

Keep checking junkyards and craigslist everyday. You'll find one eventually. But 120 for a "bumper" isn't to bad. I would never spend that much on the sorry excuse for a bumper. Save your money a little while longer and get a good bumper from the get go. You'll spend less in the long run

That's a very clean truck, has it been repainted? I just finished painting mine recently as the beige(ish) color I had was not working for me anymore

Thank you. I just got it a few months ago from AZ. The body and frame were way cleaner than I expected based on the ebay pics. All I have done is a compound, polish and wax to the body. It's a 10 footer, chips and nicks, etc. but overall very straight and absolutely zero rust. I think about 90% is original paint. I got very lucky with the find and price... looking forward to building it up soon.

Nice even better an eBay find.. I found mine rotting in a field waiting to die till I saved it haha. May I suggest that you wait as long as possible before you start dumping performance parts into it. Get to know the truck very well and it's capabilities in stock form. You will become a much better driver when the time comes to upgrade. I've had mine almost three years and am still surprised by how capable this truck is in stock form

Thanks, that's good advice. I have already changed my mind on a few things, especially the order of importance so that would be good advice to consider. Drivetrain and overall reliability are high on the list right now after a couple test drives.
