I think this might be my first post but I've been a troll for years
I first started this journey 4 years ago in Minnesota when I started my research. I wanted a 4Runner for the harsh winters to haul inventory for my online business but never pulled the trigger. Business partners convinced me we didn't need one. Lame!
So fast forward to today, I live and work in downtown Los Angeles and ride my bicycle almost everywhere. I figure its the perfect time to buy a low MPG truck to go on weekend adventures! 4 months of searching and this beauty pops up on Craigslist!
2000 4Runner SR5 4WD Manual with E-Locker!! 133k on the Odometer.
The guy never mentioned the E-Locker so it was a great surprise. Rear window works, antenna works, clock works, clean interior, clean exterior, and the clutch is tight. The only problem is the passenger side door handle doesn't work and needs to be repaired. Picked up last night for 7500!
Its a bit of a guzzler and probably needs new spark plugs and a mini tune up to get it up to 19 so thats where im going to start. There is also this whistling sound coming from the KN intake that was installed that needs to be plugged up. I know, only one pic for now, but once i get some time and the DSLR out, ill take some high res shots.
Anyways, I'm very happy to be here and hope to learn alot from you all.
