hi to all , great site - first time posting here.
Just bought a 95 4Runner 2wd a week ago with fire damage to pretty much everything the the engine bay that was plastic or rubber. Good thing is I have to say i have seen worst.
Bought as a project and if i get it running right I will turn it over to my kid.
If I do this right you should be able to see 2 picture below?
I have pretty much finish replacing everything, So last night I am at a point of checking all things are set to go?? I tried to turn start the engine over. It cranks and turn but thats it?
I notice after my check of list in my head that all seem to be good BUT only i have 3 things working.
I have not fuel pressure, (all fuses tested ok) relays umm not yet tested or might even have the wrong one in the wrong location? (will need a picture of someones fuse box to compare).
I have not spark at the spark plugs
I have no horn? (hope this will add to the mystery but the horns are good)
My theory is the ECM might be toast due the fire and all wires connecting after melting.
Other than that everything else seems ok
Any ideas on where to start?
Also not sure where the relay to the EFI is located, I dont see it in the engine bay fuse box, well assuming I am looking for a round silver relay?
