I like Firestone but
I use them for my alignments but will no longer let them do my oil.
Last time I checked they were using Purolator filters. I had one let go one day it literally exploded in my engine bay. Thank goodness I had them fill me with synthetic that I supplied. Immediate loss of oil pressure.
The 3rd gen Runner will not let you run with that low of pressure -excellent design idea-and would not restart to get me across an intersection. Towed to Irbis and took exploded filter to Firestone who never supplied any acceptable explanation for how that could happen.
I like them for alignments and front end work but as long as they are using Purolator filters no thanks.
