Firewall and auto-antenna help

I am installing a new head unit and a basslink sub, but I'm having trouble finding a spot in the firewall to go through.....are there any pre-drilled on 3rd gens (01 limited) or will i have to make my own. (Looking for something on the driver's side)

Also, the new headunit doesn't allow the power antenna to go down when I'm not listening to the radio, as long as the unit is on. the stock unit would let the antenna go down even if the unit was on, as long as I wasn't listening to the radio.

Thanks in advance

You might have a problem with your wires. I know on my aftermarket HU as soon as I switch to a CD or my iPod my antenna goes down.

I don't know of any predrilled firewall holes either. When I had my audio wires run they had to drill a whole in the firewall.

This is where I ran my amp power wire through an existing firewall grommet. Also, I had the same issue with my aftermarket h/u so I just installed a switch for it yesterday. This is what I did
