Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kevin, I'm originally from NC, but now live in OK. I bought my first 4Runner after thinking long and hard on what kind of SUV I wanted. I've been driving a 1999 Jetta TDI for the last 4 years so I'm used to getting 40-45mpg so this is a big change for me. I've had SUVs before, but so far this is my favorite and I've only had it since Monday. Anyway, I purchased a 1999 4Runner SR5 2wd (don't make fun of me). The main reason I got a 2wd is because it's cheaper and there's really no need for 4wd in OK. If I can find somewhere to ride I might give it a lift, tires, and look into the e-locker, but until then it's fine how it is. I did order a yakima load warrior last night and it should be here this weekend so I may take some pictures and put them up in the 3rd Gen section when I get it installed. Either way, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi and I look forward to visiting a new forum other than the TDI one I normally visit. Now to sell my car
