Headed up to BB because we heard of the impending storm.

Nailed it!

Perfect conditions! Dry fluffy snow.

Camped over night at Holcomb Creek. Probably a handful of other "nuts" camping when we arrived at 5pm

Glad we arrived late afternoon because the traffic trying to get off the mountain was insane. Likewise we headed out late morning on Sunday to avoid the drama.

Thats one awesome looking rig... I like how that Natural White blends in very well out there, perfect camouflage for snowy mountains.

Btw- how cold did it get at night ?

Just missed you Sunday! Pulled in for a restroom break and saw the couple in a jeep with a furnace in their tent. Was a great day, took 3n16 all the way out to green valley lake.

Going up there right after Christmass because thats when the family cabin will be vacant, I actually wanted to camp and try out my new tent but my lady wants to be indoors.
She wins this round!

I was one of the lucky ones headed down the mountain Saturday night. Bunch of people driving 2wd trying to get up the little hill going it of town and completely stopped traffic. It took 3.5 hours to get from the lake to highland. It was gnarly man.
