They're much easier to paint when they aren't rusted!! I just re did mine, I bought a small can, (a quart perhaps?) of rustolium, and a brush, and just glopped paint on. I did like 4 very thick layers per side. I'm hoping it won't rust this winter, and the thick paint will help it not get scratched to the metal.
And when it does, a quick wire brush and a spray can will fix it.

Looks really good! I am saving up for some armor also, every time I go out wheeling and here a loud bang under my truck the first thing that comes to my mind is armor!

Nice job, I act planned on getting mine rhyno-lined and use a red spray to bring out the Bubbuild sign (Not as bold as you letters, just the laser cut portion) I really just put it on to see how it looks because i did'nt wanna wait till i rhyno it. Yeah whats up with it rusting? look liked they keep them stocked in some kinna climet controled warehouse cause mine already has very light surface rust after 1 day lol.

Yeah thanks man, the wheels took me about 5 months to complete (temperature and lack of time) Been 4months now since i put them on and everyone in My town loves the rim/tire match-up. I still got a little work to ( complete armor, 3'' toyotec lift, custom front bumper rhyno-lined, rear bumper R-lined, New tires 33's,120 outlet, tint, new pait, sport hoodscoop and supercharge). yeah i know its alot, but i will get it done i hope lol
no problem, i wouldn't be that patient with the paint process. haha i'm not gonna lie, i'm saving for some 18s and 32s as it's my DD. and i'm 17, money is scarce with no job. also wanna getta toyotec 3" lift as well. after christmas, i wanna have the wheel/tire setup and the lift done. i'm right there with ya, it's alot but i wanna get it done. ahah
