Well I couldn't let this deal go to waste so I picked it up tonight for $25. I still haven't decided if I want to use it or not but if I do I'll probably have my dad help me cut the legs down and then have it powdercoated before it goes in.

i got one in my garage that i need to cut down and PC too... let me know when you are gonna do yours, maybe we can to a little roll bar mod/install party

Yeah that would be awesome man. I was gonna have my dad help since I'm not experienced with cutting or welding, but if you know what you're doing then I'd be more than happy to meet up and do both of ours.

i got mine for 20 bucks love it

whow whow whow, i never said i knew what i was doing, ive never done one of these before, so this would all be trial and error for me...

This thread convinced me to go ahead and get one too. I think it just bolts right in to existing factory mounts doesn't it?

:jk:

its so easy to do. cut 2" off the front legs over the wheel wells, weld back, install and drill and bolt. doesnt have to be 100% on the new angle of the feet over the wheel wells because the metal will conform to it, like mine did. takes total of maybe 30 min. and i love mine :p

the only thing is i was going to make a sub box over the wheel wells but now the bar is in the way... oh well :happens: totally worth it :bluejump:

Then we'll both be learning something new. It sounds pretty straight forward so we shouldn't have too many issues.
