For the people that got amps and speaker boxes I was wondering how you had them mounted or bolted down so they dont come up missing when the top is off and youre away from the truck. I would like to build something this winter. Thanks in advance!

This is what I did with mine. I don't have an amp though, I'd probably throw it under the passenger seat and bolt it down. In that back there on each side there are two smallish holes next to 'D' hooks. I pulled out the hooks and bolted my boxes down. I discovered one problem though while moving some stuff around yesterday I destroyed the right hand speaker. They don't move at all, (it is nice however when wheeling not to have those things flying all over)

I have 6x9's in the cubbies in the back seats (SR5), with 5 1/4's in the front doors, and tweeters where the stock front speakers go. I've also got a 10" bandpass sub behind my rear seats with a ratchet tie-down holding it and my sub amp under the driver's seat.

I'm planning to add a 4 channel amp for the speakers in between the inner and outer wall in the back seat at a later time.

I'll get pics up for you at some point.

Depending on the size of the amps, I have mounted mine underneath both the passengr and Driver seats. Ran the sub wires under rear seats/carpet to the side kick panels on both sides then under the seat to the amps. Ran all power down the middle under the center counsel.

Speaker Keeper...

I threaded a flexible heavy duty cable thru holes of my high-lift jack on the floor, around the rollbar and into & out of my 12" (100w) rear sub-woofer (using the duct ports!) - then closed with a Masterlock to keep them from "growing legs". Since my top is off or the Softop is buttoned; it's either in my view OR alarmed anyway! I want to keep a "stock" look; so i used existing front speaker cavities for mid & high. (Amp is mounted to rear of d-side back.)
