First Groan..now Shudder?

So I've already inquired with the board regarding the wierd Groan...now I'm feeling on occasion a "shudder", when in 4wd..and pulling out of a parking lot...it's very slight...and I've never felt it before.

Any clues?

when you feel the shudder are you turning or have the steering wheel in motion?

Yes exactly. It's a low speed turn when I feel the shudder--iin 4wd only.

The groan-highway speed like I mentioned in my other threat.

I get that also. the drive system does that. someone here smarter than me can explain exactly why but my sense is that it is a normal operating noise at low speed while turning.....worse on snow by the way in my experience.

Odd. I've never felt it before, of course it could be perfectly normal as you said.

well mine is just one opinion so I hope that others will read this and let us know. When I first got my 4Runner I noticed it immediately first time I was in 4WD a shudder when making a turn. I test drove an escape (silly me) many years ago and it did the same thing. seems the ABS kicks in when turning in 4WD mode. Hope you get more opinions as I would like to know as well for sure.
